Security Guard Services in Newark, NJ

Security guards for Newark's ports, warehouses, and airport corridor

Newark sits at the center of the busiest logistics corridor on the East Coast: Port Newark-Elizabeth, Newark Liberty International Airport, and the I-95 distribution belt running through northern New Jersey. Warehouses, terminals, and industrial parks here move freight around the clock — and cargo theft, unauthorized yard access, and after-hours break-ins are the daily reality. Xtreme Security provides uniformed guards, gate coverage, and mobile patrols across Newark and the surrounding corridor, coordinated through our 24/7 control center.

Port and terminal-adjacent facilities need security that understands freight operations. Our officers provide gate coverage with driver, tractor, and trailer logging, yard and perimeter patrols, and dock-area monitoring that keeps cargo moving without slowing the operation. We brief officers on your facility's traffic flow and access rules before the first shift, so the guard team supports the operation instead of bottlenecking it.

Distribution centers and warehouses along the I-95, Turnpike, and Route 1&9 corridors face the same threat profile at larger scale: high-value inventory, constant truck movement, and big dark yards overnight. Xtreme provides overnight watch, alarm response, and mobile patrol routes that cover multiple facilities in a single run — presence and a rapid response number for every site, without staffing a dedicated post at each one.

The airport corridor brings its own mix: hotels, parking facilities, office parks, and commercial properties serving travelers and logistics staff. Our officers handle lobby and entrance coverage, parking-area patrols, and overnight watch for these properties. For construction projects around the corridor, we provide overnight perimeter security with gate logs and documented shift reports that give project managers a clear record.

Newark-area clients get officers who know the corridor and supervisors who can reach sites fast — plus a control center that answers 24/7 at 1-800-730-3712. Our wider network spans 13 US states and coast-to-coast Canada, so shippers and 3PLs with facilities in multiple markets keep one vendor and one contract. Every engagement starts with a free on-site risk assessment and a custom security plan.

Corridor clients also rely on us for fire watch during system impairments, alarm response for unstaffed warehouses, and temporary coverage during peak shipping seasons across northern New Jersey. Our officers understand freight schedules and shift changes, so coverage adapts to your operation rather than the other way around. For a free risk assessment of any facility along the corridor, call 1-800-730-3712 — our control center answers 24/7, every single day of the year.
