Protecting Waterloo Around the Clock

Xtreme Security Inc. protects technology offices, university campuses, manufacturing sites and event venues across Waterloo and surrounding areas of Waterloo Region from our national network. As a privately-owned Canadian company headquartered in Delta, British Columbia, we field 4,800 full-time security professionals with access to 17,000 hired guards nationwide, supported by 40+ regional offices, 270+ mobile patrol units and a 24/7 National Security Operations Centre. Waterloo clients get uniformed guards, mobile patrols and alarm response backed by real-time digital reporting on every shift.

Waterloo's technology corridor and its two universities, the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University, drive constant construction and a steady demand for campus-aware security. Our construction guards manage gate access, contractor sign-in, equipment and material protection and after-hours perimeter patrols on active builds, with GPS-verified patrol checklists and live photos. We also cover campus facilities, parking structures and student housing areas with uniformed officers trained for an academic environment.

The region's manufacturing plants and industrial parks, along with retail destinations like Conestoga Mall, need reliable coverage around the clock. Xtreme Security provides gatehouse guards, yard patrols and alarm response for industrial sites, plus loss prevention officers and uniformed guards for retail centres and commercial plazas, with marked mobile patrols checking properties after hours.

Waterloo hosts some of Canada's biggest annual celebrations, including Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest, alongside university events, concerts and festivals that draw large crowds. Our event security teams handle ticket checks, crowd management, licensed-venue coverage, access control and backstage protection, scaling from campus events to multi-day public festivals with supervisors on site and live reporting to our control centre.

When you hire Xtreme Security in Waterloo, you get more than a uniform at the door.
